This was our first time at Praire's Edge, and it does not disappoint. It was just a great experience from start to finish. We did have a reservation and were seated immediately upon walking in. Our server... Jeremy greeted us just after being seated and offered us water and took our drink orders. I have to say that Jeremy went above and beyond when it came to service. He offered us his opinions on menu items and what was his favorites. A very fun and charming young man who made our evening with wonderful personality and his exceptional customer service. Our food was fantastic. It came out very quickly and the portion size was perfect. We finished dinner with the chocolate hazel nut cheese cake. I can honestly say it was one of the best cheese cakes I have ever had. Great food, great drinks, and great staff. We will definitely be going back.

This place is nothing short of amazing! The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is very open and beautiful looking. About 30$ a meal so a bit on the pricey side. Food is amazing quality. After you order food you can watch the ducks or walk while your waiting. Would forsure return here!

Really nice place out of downtown Winnipeg. It was worth coming all the way up here. The park is huge and lovely. The service is impeccable here. I had eggs Benedict with bacon, my hubby had Prairie's breakfast, very generous portion. I had the grated hash browns but I recommend the cubed ones, they are tastier, seasoned, and warmer. Mine were cold. I had a true north tea, really good! I came from downtown by bus, 18 or 38. It was nice to see around on the way up. It's worth the try.

We booked a lunch reservation before going to see a show at Rainbow Stage. I ended up ordering the Mushroom Toast from the breakfast menu (available until 1pm), I substituted the hashbrowns for french fries. The portion was so big and everything was so DELICIOUS!! It was my first time eating here and what a great experience! My daughter ordered the Grilled Cheese from the kids menu which included a juice, grilled cheese sandwich (which was huge!), big portion of fries, 2 slices of green apples, and a Rice Krispies square. The whole menu looked great! Everything was amazing, atmosphere, menu options, price point, portions, it was all fantastic! The is a parking lot right in front of the restaurant, so convenient!

This is my third time here, but first for my husband, I love my breakfast skillet and my masala Chai tea, the aroma of the tea was very refreshing and sweet. I also love the inside vibes of the restaurant, but this time we've chosen to eat on the patio. The look out was serene with ducks playing on the pond. The service was pleasantly exceptional and fast. Definitely will be going back again with the family this time.

Went here a couple days ago, highly recommended. Good service, good atmosphere and good food. The only thing I could complain about was all the rind in the brie. I eat it often so I know it's not good. However the dish did well at covering the taste of the rind I did end up eating..still very enjoyable experience.
